Snow Hike – Find yourself where eagles soar while trekking through the woods with trails white with snow. On one side of the path is Maryland’s largest waterfall and on the other side a historic site where entrepreneurs like Henry Ford once camped. Escape to Wisp Mountain – Escape Rooms have made it to Deep Creek Lake. Sled Riding – Take an old-fashioned approach to winter and spend the afternoon sledding with the kids. Bring your own sled or rent one and enjoy the giggles that follow. With over 10 miles of trails, Herrington Manor State Park also offers cross country skiing and snowshoeing with rentals on site.
