Moon Shadow is our favorite restaurant with a great selection of food, beverages, and live music. They have a variety of vegan and vegetarian options included in their menu, although it is not limited to those. Bring your dogs to join you on their outdoor patio.
Black Bear Tavern
If you’re looking to catch a sports game, Black Bear Tavern is the best sports bar near Deep Creek Lake. You can enjoy a game of pool or foosball while you enjoy a beer and food. Dogs are welcome at this location on the outside deck.
The Vagabond Taproom
Vagabond carries a vast selection of regional and local beers, wine, and cider – as well as small bites and desserts. Take advantage of their pint for pint offer. Hoyes Crest is the highest peak in Maryland at 3,360′. Enjoy this moderate to difficult hike, and enjoy the views at the top. Dogs are allowed on the trails with a leash.
Kendall Trail
Kendall Trail is a 4-mile out and back hike for all ages. This is kid friendly and dog friendly. Bring the whole family out to Kendall Trail where you can spot natural flowers and wildlife along the Youghiogheny River.
