Thanksgiving 2022 is quickly approaching. What are you thankful for? If we take time to slow down, there is so much to be thankful for. Warm clothes, good health, and a roof over our heads, are a few that come to mind initially.

We wouldn’t be a small business in McHenry, MD without our guests. It is because of our guests that we continue to provide hospitality near the beautiful Deep Creek Lake, where family and friends can enjoy a memorable getaway together.
We have hosted single families, individuals with their dogs, weddings, family reunions, and retreat groups. Every single person (and dog) who has stayed with us has made our vision of Blue Moon Rising possible. From the bottom of our hearts – THANK YOU!

Thank you for the community and small businesses that represent McHenry. Blue Moon Rising has been in business for 14 years, and in those years we have been part of a town that is supportive of one another in business and friendships.
We are also thankful for the beautiful area that surrounds us. Our town brings outdoor activities near Deep Creek Lake like hiking, biking, boating, golfing, and numerous water sports. It’s no wonder why this area is a great place to enjoy a vacation!

We live on a planet where beauty surrounds us. Just take some time to venture outdoors and you will see what a gift it is to be alive. Ecosystems work perfectly together to bring us wildlife, nature, oxygen, water, and beauty.
